Not sure if this is the best place to put this, both in terms of category and getting people to see it, but here goes.
I've been debating the idea of acquiring a small industrial unit in which to setup a photographic studio and workshop, which would of course be WAM friendly. It's early days at this point, but I've got to start somewhere
So, I was wondering how many people would be interested in using a studio located in central Newcastle, either for photo shoots or just as a location in which to get up to some messy fun.
In addition, I'd also be curious what each type of perspective customer would ideally like such a venue to have in terms of facilities, equipment, etc.
Aside from the usual hot and cold running water, a shower and reasonable privacy, some ideas could include a gunge tank/dunk tank, storage space before/after the event, laundry, lighting, sound hardware - the possible list is endless.
So - your opinions please, either as producers or just WAM enthusiasts in need of a venue!
Sounds great idea. Athlough already got gunge tank would like to make scenes with models on gunge dunk and getting dunked in thick gunge like on Get Your Own Back and going completly under the gunge or something that could allow my cement truck idea to be filmed with cement truck and fake cement for realislm but probably not practical unless were talking really tall studio but may'be at least potential if not with truck something with cement that I could do in studio that can't do at moment. Think in america got miny cement trucks for example seen on youtube.
